THANK YOU for making this campaign a success: the President decided not to veto the
ammendments to the Ley General de Vida Silvestre which protect mangroves and on February
1st, 2007 they were published in the Diario Oficial. Although we cannot possibly take credit
for this, we would like to thank all who wrote letters to the President urging him to sign the
ammendments into law. And also suggest that you take the time to write again, thanking
