Cenzontle Sureño - Tropical Mockingbird

Has tres tipos de Cenzontle en Mexico. El
Común habita en la mayor parte del país, con
excepción del Sureste. El Tropical o Sureño, se
encuentra en el Sureste del país (Peninsula de
Yucatan, Chiapas, Tabasco y partes de Oaxaca y
Veracruz). Y el Socorrense, solo se encuentra
en las Islas Revillagigedo. Las diferencias entre
el Tropical y el Común son mínimas, pero el
Tropical tiene un canto mas bello que el Común
y no es tan propensa a imitar a otras especies
como lo es el Común.

There are three types of Mockingbird in Mexico.
The Northern is found in most of the country,
with the exception of the Southeast. The
Tropical is found in the Southeast corner of the
country ( Yucatan Peninsula, Chiapas, Tabasco,
and parts of Veracruz and Oaxaca). The Socorro
is found only on the Revillagigedo Islands. The
differences between the Tropical and Northern
are minimal, but the Tropical has a lovelier song
than the Northern, and is less likely to imitate
other species than the Northern.
