| A este bello pajarito lo he visto unicamente en dos ocasiones- ambas en Guadalajara. Sin embargo habita en casí todo el país, en el sur durante el invierno y el norte el resto del año. La excepción es la Península de Baja California donde es rarísmo que se encuentre. Prefiere las copas de árboles altos, donde caza insectos voladores, particularmente abejas y avispas. |

| I´ve only seen this beautiful little bird twice, both times in Guadalajara. However it lives in most of Mexico, spending winters in the southern half of the country and the rest of the year in the north. The exception is the Baja Peninsula, where it is rarely seen. It hunts insects high in the treetops, particularly bees and wasps. |
