Look Out for our Hermit Street Signs!
In April, Akumal Guide and Mexiconservación joined forces to create an environmental street signs to protect small fauna crossing the road. In order to reduce the amount of creatures unintentionally run over by vehicles in the Akumal area, several local community members have placed special signs on their property, depicting a hermit crab.
