COCHINO
QUEEN TRIGGERFISH

Este colorido pez lo encontramos tanto en el
arrecife como sobre los pastos marinos. Se
alimenta de erizos, camarones, calamares,
pulpos y almejas. Puede cambiar su
apariencia haciendose más oscuro, y llega a
medir 60 cm de largo.

La famosa Bahia de Cochinos, en Cuba, debe
su nombre a este pez.

Se le considera una especie Vulnerable.
This colorful fish is found both on the reef and
over seagrass beds. It feeds on urchins, shrimp,
squid, octupus and clams, and can grow to be 2
feet long.  It can change its appearance by
becoming darker.

The famous Bay of Pigs, in Cuba, owes its name to
this fish, which in Spanish is known as Cochino

It is considered a Vulnerable species.
