Esta especie es mucho menos común que la
Raya Látigo Americana y realmente sabemos
muy poco sobre ella. Aunque es de apariencia
similar, la diferencia más obvia es en la forma
de las “alas” que en ésta especie son
redondeadas, dándole un cuerpo más circular
que el de su prima. Al igual que la Raya Látigo
Americana, tiene una espina venenosa en la
cola.
This species is much less common than the
Southern Stingray, and we really know very little
about it. Otherwise similar to the Southern
Stingray, the most visible difference is in the
rounded shape of its “wings” which give it a more
circular body shape than that of its cousin. It also
has a poisonous spine in its tail.
